Method 1:
These messages occur if permissions are incorrect on your designated music folder or on a folder inside your designated music folder. Permissions are settings that determine who can read, write to, or execute a file or folder on your computer. Every file and folder on your hard disk has an associated set of permissions.
Example: If permissions are correct on your Music folder, but incorrect on the U2 folder inside your Music folder, you would be able to add other music to your iTunes library, but not that new U2 album.
To apply permissions to a file or folder
1. Right-click the file or folder and then click Properties.
2. Click the Security tab and then click Edit.
3. Do one of the following:
· To set permissions for a user that is not listed under Group or user names, click Add, type the name of the user or group, click OK, select the permissions, and then click OK.
· To change or remove permissions from an existing group or user, click the name of the group or user, select the permissions, and then click OK.

Method 2:
Try uninstalling iTunes and other apple application from the system and again reinstall iTunes. Check apple website to download iTunes. Check the link below.
