Display sleep | |||
Imam problem z display sleepom (iMac). V preferencah imam nastavljeno, da se ekran ugasne po 15 minutah. Težava se pojavi, ko v VLC špilam muzko iz externega diska. Dokler se display ne ugasne zadeva deluje normalno, ko se pa display ugasne zacnejo komadi stekat. Vsakih 10-20 sec se komad prekine za kakšno sekundo dve. Če grem do kompa in premaknem miško (ponovno prižgem display) se ta težava ne pojavlja. Drugi problem je uporaba apple remote ko je ekran ugasnjen. Ko se ekran ugasne, na remotu pritisnem volume up. Kaj se naredi? Ekran se prižge, volume up zašteka in gre sam do konca (isto kot bi s tipko F12 nabiju glasnost do konca). Zanima me, če ima še kdo težave s tem in če kdo ve v čem je fora. Javim ko probam. It's likely that the disk is being put to sleep. VLC is likely reading the music in chunks to save on memory usage, so it reads in, say 1mb of music and plays that. As the buffer empties it reads in more music. The problem may be that in between each read the drive is going to sleep and that adds an unexpected delay in VLC being able to read the next chunk of music off disk. If VLC doesn't have a configuration for its buffer size I'd guess the solution to your problem lies in System Preferences -> Energy Saver -> Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when possible option, although this may have other negative connotations (e.g. decreased battery life since the drives are always spinning and never asleep). |
