Živjo. Mene pa zanima ali je možno spremeniti lokacije map Music, Pictures, Documents,.... na neko drugo lokacijo kot so sicer postavljene?

Vsa stvar je v tem da bi rad vgradil SSD v moj Mac in bi medijo imel na zunanjem disku preko FW800. Tako da bi bil na SSD-ju samo sistem.

Na tem mestu me zanima še nekaj glede iTunes. Imam zbirko vseh albumov na zunanjem disku. iTunes je v mapi Music naredil folder iTunes in noter očitno strpal vso glasbo ki sem jo dodal notri. Ali je smiselno potem imeti podvojeno glasbo, saj vse kar imam na zunanjem disku imam v iTunes foldru?

Prav tako me zanima še smiselnost poganjana Time Machina za vgradni SSD če bom imel na njem samo sistem, ostalo pa bo itak na zunanjem disku, ki deluje v RAID1 načinu?

If anyone wants to move their Documents folder to another hard drive so that the default 'Documents' icon stays intact, or if anyone wants to move their enter user folder, Apple has built-in the ability to do this in OS X. This doesn't require aliases, or symbolic links. There is a configuration pane in System Preferences for this. This only works with your entire user folder, not just the Documents folder. First, copy your User folder to the destination hard drive. Second, open Accounts within System Preferences. Make sure the lock is unlocked so that changes can be made. Right-click on the user name of the account for which you copied the user folder and choose 'Advanced Options...'. This takes you to a pane where, among other things, you can change the location of your Home Directory. After choosing the new location, click OK and restart your computer. After restarting the changes take effect and the user folder location has changed. All of the system icons (the house, documents, downloads, movies, music, pictures, desktop, etc.) are transferred to the new location. I read about this procedure at Chris Pirillo's website.
